Krug Grande Cuvée 171ème Édition Brut is a masterpiece of Champagne craftsmanship, embodying Joseph Krug's dream of creating the finest Champagne beyond the limitations of a single vintage.
This edition, based on 131 wines from 12 vintages dating back to 2000, showcases exceptional blending artistry. The base wine is from the 2015 vintage, with a varietal composition of 45% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay, and 18% Pinot Meunier. The blend includes 58% base wine and 42% reserve wines, offering unrivalled complexity and richness.
Expect a luxurious experience with flavours of ripe stone fruits, hazelnuts, toasted brioche, and hints of citrus zest. Perfectly balanced with a creamy texture and fresh, mineral finish, this Champagne is ideal for celebrations or pairing with lobster, roasted chicken, or truffle-infused dishes.
