The Giant Steps Applejack Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023 is a captivating expression of the Yarra Valley, showcasing the brilliance of a small yet high-quality vintage. Crafted from the Applejack Vineyard in Gladysdale, planted in 1997 by Ray Guerin, this Pinot Noir comes from one of the coolest and most extended growing seasons in Yarra Valley history. The 2023 vintage was defined by bright natural acidity and concentrated fruit due to the cool spring and mild growing conditions. Seven clones (114, 115, MV6, D2V5, D5V15, Pommard, and Abel) contribute to the wine's complexity.
